& Why You Too Should Donate

Dear Ministry Partner and Friend of Africa,

I hope you will take a moment and view our full website.  Specifically pay attention to our newsletters at the tab "Impact Stories". I know you will enjoy reading about the wonderful impact the ministry is having in Cameroon, all made possible from your support.  As we share our stories of ministry, please keep in mind what it will take to make a real difference in Africa…

Our cause is more freedom for the people of Africa because freedom is the best guarantor of sustainable development. But there can be no freedom without sustainable education. Yet millions of poor children in Africa don't get the education they so desperately need.  This is why we are investing in education by building schools.

Affirming the Dignity of the People of Africa

The charity model of the last 100 years gives a hand out without a hand up. Consequently the charity model, besides being unsustainable, also robs people of Africa of their dignity, because the charity model reduces the people of Africa to the level of beggars.

In our farm schools, those who study in our school also work in our farms to cover the cost of their education. Their dignity is affirmed because they know they are working for their education.

From Charity to Sustainability

Millions of poor children in Africa cannot afford the cost of needed education. Unfortunately, most people trying to help Africa in the last 100 years (governments, United Nations, churches, and other NGOs) have used a charity-based model, which is unsustainable. This is why we are building sustainable Farm-Schools. A sustainable Farm-School is a school in a farm, with the farm covering the cost of the school.

Progress in Africa Benefits the USA, Europe and the World.

As Africa becomes freer, healthier, safer, stronger and more prosperous, so too will the USA, Europe and the rest of the world. The current situation in Africa, if not changed, will make Africa a haven for terrorists and other evils. These terrorists and evils will not be contained in Africa but inevitably spread to the USA, Europe and the rest of the world.

Investing in building a freer, healthier, stronger and more prosperous                          Africa will eliminate a haven for terrorists and make Africa a better                                 partner for trade with the USA, Europe and rest of the world. Progress in Africa benefits everyone.

As you read our spring 2013 newsletter story about baby Miracle and the need for farm schools, we ask that you consider making a significant gift to lay the foundation for our farm schools.  We need to raise an initial $500,000 investment for this project.

We are excited about our growing partnership with Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) to convert solar energy into electrical energy and make it available to poor rural populations in Africa. While the IEEE is providing expertise in equipment design, development and delivery, they do not fund operational and administrative support for this wonderful project. Therefore we have to provide the personnel to execute and manage the initiative. Please consider investing in this effort. The initial investment in this project is $300,000.

Lastly, would you please help arrange a speaking engagement for me in your church, school, civic or professional group?  Your tax-deductible monthly gift of $100, $500, $1,000 or more will help the children in Africa take their first steps out of poverty and darkness, and towards a brighter future.

Thanks in advance for your thoughtfulness, prayerfulness and generosity.
